AMMA 2018 – The IV^th „Automotive, Mobility, Modeling and Alternative solutions” Congress

Organized by: SIAR – Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania AND Technical University of Cluj-Napoca 

AMMA 2018 is the annual international congress of Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania (SIAR) and is organized under FISITA patronage by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

The aim of the Congress is to provide opportunities for the participants to:

• gain their insights into the cutting edge automotive industry and ideas for future developments;
• update their skills and knowledge by attending focused technical sessions;
• network with potential new partners, clients and suppliers;
• view the latest technology, products and services in the technical exhibition.

Congress topics:

1. Hybrid and electric vehicles;
2. Powertrain and propulsion;
3. Cyber physical systems in automotive;
4. Advanced engineering, software and simulation;
5. Road safety, traffic control and transportation engineering;
6. Manufacturing technologies and Materials;
7. Green Vehicle Solutions.

The Congress purpose is to gather members from academia, industry and government and present their possibilities for investigations/research, in order to establish new future collaborations in the automotive engineering and transport domain.

A special workshop will be organized on the challenges of universities as providers of human resource for the industry (Automotive Engineering and Transport Education Workshop).

There will be several activities for students:

1. a dedicated conference session;
2. the International Contest for Students in Automotive Engineering „Professor Eng. Constantin GHIULAI” with two sections: „Automotive Dynamics” (the 5^th edition) and „Automotive Computer Aided Design” (2^nd edition)

The congress represents an invaluable opportunity for companies to present their products and services to high-level engineers and managers.

Selected papers will be published in the Springer Link Publishing Special Congress Volume (Indexed in Thomson Reuters Web of Science).
